At Clogau we use many precious and semi-precious stones in our jewellery. Please note that the majority of gemstones that we use are all natural and not synthetic, therefore there may be slight variations in appearance. This excludes certificated gemstones.

Citrine

The emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus. It was thought to preserve love.
Garnet

Pink Sapphire
Gemstone variety of the mineral corundum. Corundum yield a pink or red tint, the latter being called a ruby.

The use of topaz goes back to at least ancient Egyptian times and the Sanskrit word for topaz is related to heat or fire.
Preseli Bluestone
The stones used in building Stonehenge 5,000 years ago and are only found in the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. They possess healing and magical powers.
